chess-as we play it today in black&white has as objective in mind to destroy its opponent.the game i'm proposing in colour has a totaly different approach as it's objective is to finish a game without anybody being left out. (the 2 sides need to help each other to bring the game to a conclusion) the game can be played with different forms (coloured lights, glasspieces, carpets, woodpieces, etc...) |

A great way to play the game would be with coloured lights opposite lights would make a white light (and so can leave the board) while others just make a different colour (wrong move) |

players can take different forms

Update May 2005: working on the programming of this game ( move count, best score, timer,etc...) , hopefully everything should be up and running in a few weeks time (add this page to your favourites and revisit in a few weeks) |

another way of playing the game is with the pieces shown here, those are little carpets that are played on a big carpet board
How to Play

altough all the pieces seem to be looking the same they are all different this piece will only interact with nr 6 above (flowing pattern) |
to play a game with the carpets go here
Chessgame with Carpets
altough the game is not so much of winning or losing, it could be played in some form of tournament where the winner or winners would be a person or group that finishes the game with the least moves it could also be made as a role playing game if you stretch the imagination a bit (as an example-imagine a story like Romeo and Juliette where instead of dying they get married on a secret location and need to get both clans as quickly as possible to the wedding ) as i said only an example , but variations on co-operative approaches could be invisighed |
any feedback greatly appreciated
